2 ¼ cups flour                                                               
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp baking soda mixed with 2 tbsp water                       
¾ cup butter
1 tsp ginger                                                                   
¼ cup molasses
1 tsp cinnamon                                                             
1 egg
½ tsp clove                                                                    
¼ tsp salt
Make into balls and roll in sugar.  
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until done.
