Jambalaya

This recipe comes from my friend who grew up in Louisiana. This is a favorite Creole recipe of his.

Ingredients:

Chicken (a couple pounds, dark and white)

Smoked sausage

1 lg. green pepper

1 lg. white onion

½ lb. ground beef

4 cups rice

Directions:

-Cook the ground beef, sausage and chicken.

-Put into a bowl.

-Cook the veggies with butter.

-Put everything in big pot with rice and water.

-Cover, cook, stir occasionally on low heat.

-Add spices; Tony Chacere’s Creole seasoning and Mrs. Dash original.
