Grilled Reuben

Ingredients:

Slices of rye, pumpernickel, or French bread
Butter
Smoked beef or turkey
Thousand Island dressing
½ cup sauerkraut, well drained
Swiss or Provolone cheese slices


Directions:

-Butter eight slices of bread on one side
-Turn bread over
-Layer four slices with meat from a package beef or turkey, a desired amount of dressing, a small mound of sauerkraut, and cheese
-Top with bread slice buttered side out
-Fry in buttered skillet over medium heat until side is browned and flip
-Done when cheese is melted

Notes:

Can also be made with a Panini sandwich maker.
